Graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Visual Arts and Design Education from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. In 2014, I was introduced to Japanese Ikebana and was captivated by the spirit of "a single tea flower" embodied by the legendary Japanese tea master Sen no Rikyū. Around the same time, I also discovered the natural, free-spirited approach to flower arrangement of contemporary Japanese Ikebana master Toshirō Kawase. This inspired me to begin exploring the joy of arranging "a single flower" using gifted bouquets and old vessels found at home.
In 2017, I had the fortune of studying Zen under Venerable Master Changling. Through this practice, I came to appreciate that each encounter with a flower — choosing the vessel, trimming the stems, and completing the arrangement — is a once-in-a-lifetime moment, a concept known in Japanese as ichi-go ichi-e
In 2020, I became a registered Horticultural Therapy Facilitator (HTF) in Hong Kong.
